What are Countable Nouns?
Countable Nouns, also known as Count Nouns, are nouns that we can consider separable items. They can be counted using numbers. Anything that can be counted using numbers is a countable noun.

pillow
The nouns above can be counted using the article "a/an" or the specific numbers equalling their count.
The articles "a/an" are used for only one item.
"a" for a noun that starts with a consonant (letter or sound)
"an" for a noun that starts with a vowel (letter or sound)
